I read this novel till chapter 890. Here is what I think :- 1. If you like business management novels then don't read this the MC is good with ideas but is not good at management. He gives away so many shares to his friends and subordinates that there will come a day where he will lose control of all of his companies. What he cares about is friendship and brotherhood and those things don't last he does not even have majority shares in his companies the only reason he can manage them because his friends and subordinates agree to it. 2. He is too good to his friends and subordinates but they also so are are loyal to him but I don't know for how long. 3. He is too soft hearted the people who killed his mother and were responsible for his father's death when they died the MC felt a little guilty for taking a life, now that's just stupid. 4. Romance is good, relationships are good, side characters are great and even the tactics used in business are also great. I just wish that he was a little more practical because he really had potential to become very rich. 5. This is not a rebirth novel. 6. This is also very sad novel but I guess that's what also makes it a good one. 7. Read this if you like a novel with good relationship between the main character and the side characters. The friendship and the bond he has will make you jealous of him but he also pays a lot for it.
This just shows how stupid the mc is.. the author watched many cartoons I guess .. In the real world there many good friends bt when it comes to money very few will be loyal.. even if they are loyal, can they guarantee that their heirs will also be loyal?... Mc has given more shares to his friends, in the future when mc has a child and his friends also has their children and when a fight arises among those children, what will MC's child do if he gets kicked out of his own dad's hard earned properties just because his stupid dad's mindless actions...
I now understand what this novel is about... This novel's main focus is on friendship, brotherhood and relationships. The MC can be said to be very capable in business but he doesn't have much ambition. He wants to live a good life with his friends and loved ones. He wants to do business in which all his friends benefit equally. He doesn't care much about money. His main concern is making money while living happily with his friends and family.
I am in the middle of the 2nd volume of this novel now. To be honest, I still don't understand how I feel about this novel... The MC is the type of person who cares about his friends too much and they too care about him too much. MC has now opened a new company with 3 other people and he gave each of them 25% shares. I don't understand what should I feel about this decision. On one hand I think he is an idiot because now he has no control over his own company and on the other hand the people around him respect and love him enough to never go against his decisions so let's see what happens later....
I just finished the 1st volume (till ch-167). It's a very sad novel. It's not a rebirth novel. It starts from 1988, the mc suffers a lot of injustices in the 1st volume. He has no backing, no money, no future knowledge so you can imagine how tough his life is. I have conflicting feelings about this novel, at one point I hate how good the mc is sometimes and yet I also want to see how far he will go and what he can achieve as learns from his experiences. He is ruthless to his enemies but a little too good to his friends but he doesn't make the same mistake twice. I will write another review after volume 2.
But it's not like only bad things happened in the 1st volume. The good things :- 1. He found good friends. 2. He becomes friends with a few people in power. 3. He takes revenge on most of the people who went against him. I think this is one of those novels where the mc shines in the later part as the beginning and the middle part of the novel is for him to grow up and our mc here is a kid from a small village with no money, no family and no idea of how the world works so yeah he makes mistakes. Let's hope he learns from those mistakes in volume 2.
