A pretty typical rebirth story with a very, very long middle. What makes it worth holding on are the choices the MC, Xia An, makes. She doesn’t drop everything for love, she understands that found family can be as important as biological family and in the business world, she only fights those who give her trouble. Other than that, everybody is fantastically beautiful, tiny children are geniuses and the original ML is kind of a dumb jerk that falls out of the story 3/4 of the way through. The arc about the magical jade bracelets was intriguing but eventually just a deus ex machina. If this was a tv show, you’d be fast forwarding.
Im starting to dislike the FL 😅
Feels like it’s missing some extra chapters. What happened to Fu Xian who was also looking for his missing child? What happened to Fu Anqin? Still sick?
