I don't like flash marriages, nor do I like helpless FL. I only read a few chapters but in those chapters the FL was always helpless, without being able to do anything or go anywhere. Based on the tags "Protagonist Strong from the start" and the absence of "Early romance" I expected a totally different novel. It also doesn't make sense for the FL's mother to let her daughter access her inheritance only if she's married... She'd rather have her daughter married to a random person than letting her have the money and the resources to be free? I won't post it as a review but only as a comment since I only read like 20 chapters but I still did not like it.

the novel at most is okay. solid romance, but only decent character building, decent world building, and and decent plot. my only complain is that the FL and ML seems to be rather stupid. sure author tells us that they have great skills, like business, painting, medicine, cosmetics etc. though i can understand that author do no focus on this during writing novel but rather romance itself like his previous novels. but in terms of crisis and strategizing, they are lacking. for the sake of 'privacy' they didn't take precaution and allowed tragedy to happen. even when they suspect the enemy, FL were still shocked when someone confess about it as if she didn't know. as if author forgot that FL had previously guessed/suspect. and even after that, knowing the enemy is plotting, both of them didn't have any follow up action, just letting go the informant, thinking they could no longer harm them, but later these people either were used by enemy to retaliate back or even were killed to silence the witness. even FL when she used others, despite helper work to help her, she don't really care that person life or death.. when her best friend being DV victim and father threathen, despite seeing some clue, FL just think "owh its her own private affair" and not going to meddle unless her friend ask for help. so overall, only read for romance and decent plot. and don't expect too much about character
Well.. i guess the ml's sudden love out of nowhere can be explained by what i call 'chinese ml syndrome'. Which is that a super cold, a super capable and a super handsome dude with a strong background suddenly falls in love with a certain girl for no reason, jist because she is the mc of the novel.

The story is pretty okay. Just cant bear the repetitive line of the author. Feels like i read the same thing thousand times😅
