I get it that the first chapters in a novel will have some world building knowledge dump but damn Im now chapter 15 and the story hasn't progressed besides dealing with his AI....
great! he went outside! wait also the same chapter he went back home, going back from the start spending another chapters or so.....
I am impressed the author barely hides his disdain for how the Chinese government operates. ie the way it wants to control everything

Not a bad story at all. More of an urban cultivation Novel as opposed to future knowledge type of story. Not really memorable in any way so this will not be going into my library. The story still has the nationalism that we all know and ignore. But to be honest it's really well done it's a bit more reasoned out as opposed to usual "China is great!" nonsense we know from other books. The other usual suspects are present and accounted for. The racism against black people is a bit high, There's a bit of the hate on other countries japan, Taiwan etc etc

Why you guys say poison, I never see him saying bringing ccp or china to greater heigh or kick and fight other country, infact he even want to run away from china cause it demand and oppression he even mention other country the same and he just want to find a way to get material so he can cultivate.
