Hey.... It's still ongoing???. It's already one year since latest update chapter..
this is actually completed. i think this site barely updates ongoing titles.
correction: the main line is completed but the extras is not. currently there are 209 chaps.
i guess this one is an okay read. the pace is really really slow and there is a relatively huge change of tone during the war arc. a few ideas and settings are dropped midway. for example, the mc barely used his "inheritance" from flamel and dumbledore. i cannot actually remember him using any knowledge he got from them. he also does not create his own spells which makes me see him as someone way below voldemort in terms of attainments in magic. i like how the author wrote a lot of chapters after the end of the main line. i think there's a couple hundred? anyway, that's that. i would not recommend this for most people because like i said, the pace is just so damn slow and the war arc is very prolonged.

Responding to Ch 39, the egg definitely came first. The "chicken" would not be a chicken but the one before the chicken evolved, and the egg would be a variant in genetics and would become a chicken.
Producing eggs is a mutation. So, over millions of years, a species has to mutate to be able to produce eggs. Hence, the chicken came first not the egg.
In the later chapters(900+) he gets many tasts from the system(Barty Crouch Jr., Pettigrew, Voldemort during the Duelling championship etc) with good rewards(choosing skills etc) but its never revealed what kind of skills he chooses or which skills he upgrades. the system is kind of useless, only gives quests/reminders but shows no rewards; if you dont want to think about skills/dont want the MC to be too OP, dont tease these rewards in the first place.
and even later the author basically gives up on the system with the excuse that the MC feels that optaining experience after Voldys defeat will be difficult so he will save all of it. Also, quests/rewards arent even mentioned anymore. I dont mind a MC outgrowing a system, but if you introduce a system and use it regularly you should continue to do so and not just scrap it for convenience.
I think i will drop this story and deemed it as overrated
