At least I had encountered three novels before this that has a sense of plot more than of romance. It's refreshing and highly intellectually stimulating. I was at cross road around chapter 38 about whether continuing but yes did continue and been the first comment done in a while and one to read completely. The setting being prison, prison guard and prisoner is new, at the same time, it was restrained. This is a shounen ai, what makes something yaoi is the smut and there is none here. Not even foul language. It matches the main characters temperament tho. Sadly. I wouldn't mind to witness some of the wild things they are thinking but maybe the mysteriousness of those had added a hint of excitement and thrill. All the issues were solved. The length is perfect, anymore would betray the tone maintened throughout the story. But still this makes me want to read something physically stimulating else I'll just be choked up from this unsatisfied pent up stimulation. Over all good like a mouth watering pre course.
