I’ve read up to ch. 297 and my thoughts so far.. I don’t have the emotional capacity and patience to continue reading this story at this time. It’s really good and funny at times, I enjoy reading it. The plot of her starting from the ground up in her rebirth and humbling herself compared to her previous life is amazing. Learning to do things like everyone else is refreshing to see how she comes across it compared to her previous life is great. I love seeing her learn to be a better person bc she wasn’t all that great the first time around. The secondary characters are funny and I love them the most. The thing is, the FL is practically a DV survivor and has a lot of trauma. The way she acts and is recovering from being in that situation is in line with how many trauma and grooming victims act. She self sabotages at times and doesn’t need to go through as much trouble in the now if she was a bit more vocal. Again, I’m trying to be patient and empathetic to her bc she is valid and her actions are normal or common for someone in her position. Her previous life love interest utterly ruined her, he’s a horrible person and I hope he d!3s, and the current love interest/ML doesn’t understand her and also is better than the other guy, but he did what he did in that one chapter so it’s not by much. I want to continue this story but probably when I have more emotional capacity and patience to read it.
The story IS good and WORTH reading, I just can’t be a girls girl with her right now.
