For a writer of that ethnicity it doesn't seem strange to me to praise the country, but until chapter 50 that I read there was no racism or anything like that, and there were few mentions of praise like that, I don't feel it's a problem. But I understand that many are disgusted by other stories that go too far in doing this.
can you explain why people are disgusted by racism in novels when they do it in their own lives towards others anyway in reality?
Because chinese propaganda says everyone is below China and everyone owes everything to China. China is the only free country. And so on... Meanwhile when others write fanfics we dont mention countries at all or even when we do we dont make ourselves seem like the only good people in the world...
for chinese author praising their country is already pretty normal, you haven't seen novel where they literally make chinese people as god/the strongest etc (basically their novel is watched by the country and if it has R18+ or no nationalism pretty much no money coming for their novel) i think they're already brainwashed since early in life for the nationalism part

Nice novel, but it has many drawbacks (ch 43). The first two years of MC at school are boring, only the situation in the "zoo" was interesting. LLLLL Power and skill levels are disturbed. He can do something he shouldn't be able to do. It is already (supposedly) on the level of dambledor and voldemort. Title yourself as a dark man, but even for the conditions in the book, he lacks a lot for the title. LLLLL He does things for which he will only go to jail, but it is so crazy that he believes and forces the reader to know that if someone finds out what he is doing and is "already" a black man, he will die on the spot without trial. LLL Woven in needlessly Chinese stuff.
