Cap 15 y el mc es un idiota, hace las cosas más irrazonables tratando de justificarse de que el no es así, pero es muy "raro el asunto". Que mierda es esa, es un estúpido arrogante que flashea confianza.
2 things that I never understood about Chinese authors: #1 if you’re writing a story that takes place in another country then why is all the dialogue and thought processes the same as the Chinese dialogue and thought process? If you’re going to do that just make the setting China and save us the time. #2 why the e MCs of fan-fics always feel the need to prepare to defend against the opening invasion despite knowing that the invasion will be resolved by the original characters ? Take the Chitari invasion for example. He knows that the invasion will be over in less than 4 hours and won’t even leave New York City, so if he’s concerned about it then he just needs to leave New York when he sees news of a man in a funny outfit kidnapping scientists and he’d be back to normal life in less than a week

I understand this comment is for a different story but I'll answer anyway. First, maybe it's because the author is Chinese and his target readers are Chinese. Unless the author has grown up in a foreign country for most of his life then he won't be able to write a dialogue or though process of a foreigner. Likewise, his audience will find it hard to understand or relate to someone with such foreign thoughts. Let's not forget that these Chinese novels we have here aren't intended targeted to foreign readers at all. 2nd, properly written protagonists aren't perfect. Flaws and mistakes, not being amazing all the time is what makes for a great story. Otherwise, why need of character growth?
