the story kinda already turn me off when he got the talent 'eating'. i mean are we already on the troupe of 'mc will always consume tremendous resources' this early? it's like chinese author is obsessed with 'mc needs to grab resource for his enormous appetite to advance' in order to force its characters to conflict, kill, and grab resources. strive for hegemony and whatnot to let various resources centered on himself. everyone else are ants kinda thing. also what is the obsession with eating and food in various novels lately? some novels about mukbang, another about being a chef/cook with overly detailed recipe, and another being overly descriptive details on food being served when going to restaurant and stalls.
after reading a while, i must agree with others here that mc is kinda retarded. even with all the hype around the world about evolution and even distinguish professors talking about it, mc simply brush it off as 'owh the prof brain got kick by a donkey or something' kinda response. he didn't come from other world and get hit by truck-kun, or rebirth or whatnot. since it is mc's own original world, wouldn't it be weird to think he is some unique existence? i mean why is he so retarded that he thinks only he got the cheat while others are hype. how selfcentered is his POV. wouldn't the normal response is to understand why things happen to him or whether others also experience the same thing?

Ok look promising, MC thinks elemental control talent like fire is trash talent, it shows a good start, At least this shows the author's mind for the pinnacle of the power system in this novel is not the 5 elements like other cultivation novels which greatly exagerating the power and the importance of the 5 elements for the universe, I hope the author can stick with his stance and not change his mind following the trend of other cultivation novels.
