Interesting 🤔
Looks like gender bender here means the fact that the hero and Saintess genders aren't the ones who are supposed to in the hero + church vs demonking scenario. I'm not reading this until I finish my library, soo probably not going to read this for some years...
Usually “Trap” falls under Yaoi/Shounen ai because of the “effeminate boy” character that’s there to confuse straight guys but there are works wherein it is “Trap” but isn’t Yaoi at all and is just used as a comedy gag. I can say though that this seems like it’s not Yaoi, because the main characters are a girly-looking boy and a handsome-hero-type girl. (Though I’m not sure what happens later if those two are the main CP or not because I dropped this at chapter 3, since it’s not my type of comedy)
I comment to you men that later on some characteristics of the "sisters" (friends) that should be included in the tags are known and really things are not as they are really painted. In itself I recommend you give it another chance, more or less from the volume of the devil (so they call the villain) is known another facet in the plot.
