Exactly. These authors tend to nerf the system by not using it properly. It will only give tou frustration because the system (advantage) is not properly used. Why include a system if you wouldn't use it anyway? I think they are deliberately weakening the system so that they can prolong chapters to earn more money, because if the system concept is too OP, they might have a problem providing plot. Those kind of authors which didn't use system properly are just using it to clickbait people to read their garbage ass novel.
I thought it was so silly that he gave one of the animals to the other guy at the beginning of the story... if only one egg hatches you can say he's very lucky but 2 hatched? I find this more suspicious.
