Sinopsis
Di perguruan tinggi, Zhou Jingze dan Xu Sui sangat berbeda satu sama lain— jalan mereka tidak akan pernah bertemu.
Salah satunya adalah roh bebas, bulan yang dikelilingi segudang bintang. Yang lain adalah gadis yang berperilaku baik dan pendiam, mudah diabaikan.
Saat dia menyelesaikan tugasnya satu demi satu di perpustakaan, dia tidak punya niat untuk mendengarkan hal-hal tentang dia dan yang lainnya. Namun, dia telah menyaksikan dia berganti pacar satu demi satu.
Di sebuah pesta, Xu Sui mabuk dan mengumpulkan keberanian untuk mengaku padanya.
Zhou Jingze membeku sesaat, lalu mengangkat sudut bibirnya dan berkata dengan santai, “Maaf, kamu terlalu baik dan pendiam.”
Mereka bertemu lagi, berkali-kali, entah sengaja atau tidak. Xu Sui seharusnya menekan pikirannya dan menjaga jarak darinya.
Namun, dia terus mendesak, tidak meninggalkan tempat untuk bersembunyi. Akhirnya, Xu Sui bersandar di dinding: "Mengapa saya?" Zhou Jingze menundukkan kepalanya dan berbisik padanya: “Tidak ada alasan; Saya dulu buta.”

One thing in common for these characters is they all have unrequited love and the sad part is they kept it all hidden for many years. I feel so heartbroken reading this but I finally survived to all the heartaches of these chapters. LoL. The story is good but not for the faint hearted or might get frustraded wishing for them to speak up and confess already!. 😅
This story is actually the epitome of failed communication in relationship. What could happen if people just talk instead keeping it shut. Many things can be solved if they just talk properly. But in real live ego always win😂😂

The story is nice and the ML and MC are both likable. ML is too pitiful as he literally has no one but MC. They both have a sad past. I felt like MC was too cold to him for a misunderstanding that wasn’t entirely his fault but it’s understandable with secret love. Too many years are paid and that once you have it, you are even more afraid to lose it. Secret love especially unrequited love is painful especially one that lasts years. Makes me wonder what could have been done in those years of missed love. But they needed that time to grow; MC to gain self esteem and step of out insecurity and ML to learn how to love properly. Everything was tied up in the end except for the ML awful family. Tired of these types of terrible dads and families. These dads do things and then wonder why the kid rebels. Idiots. For those worried about the tragedy mentioned, it doesn’t have to do with the main leads and it is a HE. Also, for those who love books like this where secret love comes to fruition I HIGHLY recommend y’all to watch the drama Unrequited Love the 2019 version which is the original. It made me cry and I love the love story and loveeeeee the FL to death cause she’s so strong. That drama made me realize how sad unrequited love is and how strong the emotion called love is. Take it from someone who has never been in love so now after that, reading any of these types of long lasting love stories make me sad because I always think they could have gotten together earlier and it’s a pity for the lost years.
